KrystalVision Technology (KVT) was founded in Jiangbei New Area, Nanjing in 2021. We are the industrial leading innovator and provider of micro-scale high-speed spectral imaging solutions covering visible-to-thermal spectrum. Our products includes chip-scale spectrometers and spectral imagers. Currently, KVT has been awarded 24 patents in the field of spectral imaging.
KVT attracts world-renowned research and industrial innovation talents. Founded by the elected member of the United States National Academy of Engineering, of Academia Sinica, of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, KVT received sustained technology support from the scientist and fellow of the Optical Society of America. KVT has achieved independent development and production. Currently, our company can mass produce spectrometer chips with a yield of >90%.
Leveraging the innovative design and sophisticated fabrication techniques from our team, KVT reported globally, the achievement of a hyperspectral imaging optical system integrated in a nanoscale photonic chip through advanced engineering and nanofabrication. Such breakthrough empowers the mass production of micro-scale, high-speed, high-throughput hyperspectral image sensors widely adopted in machine vision, paving the path for the proliferation of cost-effective hyperspectral sensing applications in industry and manufacture.
In 2023, among >7,000 proposal nationwide, KVT was one of the 38 grant awardees of the National Major Disruptive Technology program from the Ministry of Science and Technology, in the field of autonomous driving. The integration of hyperspectral sensors brings high-accuracy material classification capability to autonomous driving, resolving challenges long plaguing this field of study. The awarded program will further strengthen the leading capabilities of KVT in micro-scale high-speed spectral imaging and increase the pace of research and development in machine vision applications.
